Creating a world that works for all life

The Singing Field usually last about two hours. The container holds space for Truth, however life is moving through you right now. And we’ll definitely have a lot of fun!
We begin with some embodiment and voice-liberation exercises to warm up and land in the space.

After landing, we open the singing circle. We sing mantras and community medicine songs from a variety of traditions, including our own.

Between the songs, we have a moment of silence to sit in the echo's of the mantra. We keep words to a minimum to stay connected to a different way of expressing.

You can sing, hum, dance, or simply lie down and receive the mantra's. This is a space in which we invite you to embody more of who you are in any given moment, and to express what's alive in you in your singing. To celebrate, to more, to sound, to be still. Sometimes raw, loud and messy; sometimes gentle and loving.

No singing experience needed. We especially welcome people who usually don't sing. This experience is much more about expressing freely and feeling connected, whatever that sounds like.

We end the circle, often leaving feeling more alive, connected and embodied, connected to the group field, and to what's possible for us.

If this resonates, we warmly welcome you to join us.
The possibility we're singing into
Through this practice, we begin to sense a new form of collective intelligence - one that transcends the individual while embracing our uniqueness. Our differences don’t divide us; they cohere into a complex unity that does not depend on agreement.

This is the true potential of The Singing Field: a space where collective emergence leads to coherence, where we wake up to our interdependent interconnectedness, and where we can sing our new world into being.

…And yes, we laugh, we hum, we celebrate - and it feels amazing!

Especially when you usually don't sing
You don't need to be able to 'sing' (whatever that means). In fact, the ones who rarely sing — or think they “can’t”, are often the ones who experience the most surprise, freedom, and joy.For us, singing is about using your voice to express whatever is alive in you. To celebrate and mourn life, through giving sound to what's here. This is something we can practice - and as with any practice, this can sometimes feel new or uncomfortable. We love to create spaces where people feel safe to experiment and explore.
Focused Singing Fields
Sometimes, The Singing Field takes on a theme, a shared focus that guides our voices, our attention, and our presence. Our next one: Singing Field: Creating the Life and World We Want.
Here, we dive into purpose and soul calling, exploring how our individual gifts, voices, and intentions can co-create something bigger. It’s a space to embody your deeper purpose through relational exercises and singing. So you can feel, imagine, and sing what wants to come alive; for you, for others, for the world.

Meet the Collective
The Singing Field Collective is a living, evolving ensemble: a group of musicians and voices that change and flow with each gathering. Anyone who feels a deep resonance with the field is welcome to join in, creating a dynamic and emergent sound together.
That being said, some musicians return regularly, drawn by alignment with the field and the depth of connection it brings. Together, we co-create a space of presence, embodiment, and collective resonance.
The Singing Field is led by Emma van den Boogert, who holds and guides the field, allowing voices to weave together, emergence to unfold, and something larger than any individual to come alive.

Emma - Guitar & Vocals
From a young age I always brought my guitar with me and made up songs to sing together with my friends and family. After high school I lost my joy in playing for a while because I thought I had to be 'good'. Until I lived in a community in France in 2022 and a friend of mine invited me to co-lead a singing circle together. I was deeply touched. I fell in love with my guitar again and began exploring the world of mantras and songs that bring people together.
I have a deep passion for community building and creating spaces where people can come together in realness - celebrating the joys and sorrows of being human, connecting to the Sacred and to what’s possible for us as humanity. I create these spaces through music and through relational work as a Nonviolent Communication and Circling trainer.

Marjolein - Percussion
I am all about being natural and authentic. About embodying love, honesty and freedom. Which includes joy, humor and in my case also rythm. I love to carefully tune in on a setting, and play the rythm that flows in that moment. Sometimes subtle and careful, and on other times full of passion and playfulness. What I love about singing circles is the power of collective remembrance of who we truly are: nature, love, joy, alive, awake, divine, consciousness. And that we truly are One. Separation is the illusion we have to see through. Especially now. During gatherings like this, we get into a frequency of love and consciousness. And the more we find ourselves in these frequencies, the more we can bring them home to ourselves, and eventually in the world around us.
Aafje - Vocals & Ukelele
Singing has always been a source of joy and connection for me.
My singing lessons in high school taught me technique, but I discovered that singing with more freedom touches me much more deeply.
It is a way to ground and to express creatively.
Singing together, especially in the repetition of mantras, opens up a creative space for me in which I can experiment with my voice.
It helps me to connect — with myself, with each other, and with something greater.
That experience is something I would love to share.
